AHS Thoughts: On my hair the tonic made my hair feel soft and helped me detangle, but I was not able to really see the shine that the Mica shine technology is supposed to add.  I think it might work better in the summer time when the sun is really shining so I'll be saving this product until then.  Plus, this product is a UV protector so if nothing else I'll be protected from the sun.

Food & Hair Connection: Soy

Recently, my boyfriend and I checked out a new type of restaurant. Vegetarian/Vegan Soul Food, at Red Bamboo in New York City. Sounds a bit like an oxymoron right? But the food was actually pretty good. We ordered the fried "shrimp", barbeque hot "wings" to start us off. The fried shrimp was fantastic and the bbq wings where okay, I wouldn't order them again but they weren't terrible.

AHS Thoughts:  Even though I've been using my Mega-Tek mix on my scalp, I've been using this on my ends and I'm really liking it.  It makes my ends feel really soft and moisturized, probably because of the Glycerin, D-panthenol and Glucose.  I use it before I seal up my ends with oil and place my hair in a bun.

Oyin Handmade Juices & Berries - Hair Closet Review
