Wash Day: Salon Visit

This week I decided to use my heat pass for January and get a rollerset and have my roots blown out.  ARGH!  Unfortunately, I was reminded as to why I have been shunning the salon and doing my own hair.  The stylist totally disregarded what I was telling her and yet again I had to get loud up in the salon.  Now don't get me wrong, I'm not that type of customer it takes a some pushing to get me to the breaking point.  First, she was combing out my hair with the rattail comb over and over and over.  I understand that you want to get the section straight and flat before setting it on the roller, but she was just aimlessly chatting on the phone and combing away.  I let that slide.  Next, while blowing me out she kept hitting my head with the end of the dryer, the brush she was using was missing the little round pieces so it felt like she was scratching the skin right off my scalp.  I only said ouch and pointed out that my scalp might start bleeding so please get me another brush cause this is hurting me.  She sucked her teeth, switched brushes and kept chatting on the phone.  At this point, I politely reminded her that I only wanted my roots blown and not the length of my hair.  "Okay mami" was the response.  Finally, I'm sitting there wondering what's happening and then I feel and hear to snap of a flat iron.  I pulled my head away and said "I don't want my hair flat ironed."  She replied, "No Mami, just the ends."  I firmly said, "That's too much heat, I DON'T want it flat ironed."  WHY did she continue to try to flat iron my hair?  All still while chatting on the phone, so I jumped out of the chair and stated very loudly, " I told you I DON'T want all that heat on my hair, I DON'T want my hair flat ironed!" Got my coat and left.

Why do I keep going back?  I really couldn't tell you, but that might have been the final straw.
